Pants on the Ground!!!
by mykraphone, under Uncategorized
so just got home from the Mike Posner Concert at Busters Billards and BackRoom, And once again for some reason the people who come out to see Mike posner seem to live in some alternate universe where douchebaggery is an acceptable way of life, and to have a good time you must fight, throwup, or in this case cause a human avalanche at the front door causing sure chaos for the grossly understaffed crew at busters. almost got trampled ( not to mention the poor little girl who almost sufficated). While Ill be the first to say that busters was not prepared to handle the sold out show at there venue.
So when you have 500-1000 people outside in 19 degree weather and clearly some pre-partying has ensused keep in mind that all of these people have paid 20 dollars just to get in the door and are literally freezing and getting crushed by people like its a riot at an english soccer match. Price of admission does not give you the right to endanger other people safety. people were arguing , eveybodies favorite attorney almost had to split somebody, my fiance threatened to end the life of girl who tried to push yours truly. while trying to keep the peace , i hear somebody reference this experince as “what hell must be like” while another girl said ” it felt like the holocaust” and when you have to start worrying about getting you and yours out of there safely then something bad has happened. As a lifetime member of the lexington night life scene i have never been so embarassed for my city. tonight is a perfect example of why we never get any quailty acts.
And as much as i would love to blame this on the “drunk idiots” or out of towners, how is it that Beaux arts can go off with out a hitch with twice as many people and you cant do something as simple as get people in the door. Busters and lexington got caught with there “pants on the ground” pics will be up 2marro. BTW NEMO KILLED it Warren Peace was rockin all night and Posner was dope “yeeeaaahhh” Stoop TROOP definite in the building i really hope this doesnt keep other events from coming to lexington

Sounds like another example of Buster’s not having a damn clue how to operate. Lexington is kind of a tease it seems because almost every time we get something dope, like a new music venue, its run by the cast of clueless. Douchebags don’t help, either.
I’ll stop there since I didn’t make it to the concert but I will say how much reading your post sucks, man. All the more reason to take shit into your own hands.
